que sera, sera [ whatever will be, will be ]
Ino made a soft squeaking noise as Kapurimon leapt from her grasp. She could hardly believe what she was seeing... why had he just done that? The digimon looked up in horror to see that his attack had bounced right off the dragon digimon. Ino was as equally horrified, her arms still cupped like she was holding him. "...Kapuri...mon...why..." Why is he doing this?! He obviously doesn't have enough strength to fight that thing off by himself!
The girl shifted in her spot a bit before taking a labored step forward to try and scoop up her little digimon. She didn't want him to fight, she didn't want to help. She just wanted to get out of there with the others safely. Having a small digimon try and fight something so large was absolutely preposterous. He didn't stand a chance! Unlike Haruka, Ino was majorly lacking faith in her digimon. However unlike Sunmon, he was not afraid.
Kapurimon gave a protesting squeak as Ino scooped him up and brought him close to her body, readying herself to run. "NO, Ino! Let me fight! I need to protect you and our friends!"
Ino blinked slowly at him...friends? He had considered them their friends? She was pretty sure both Magnus and Masato didn't find her company all that enjoyable. Then again, not many found her company enjoyable. She was too boring, too lacking in emotion. Why would anyone care about someone who didn't seem to care about anything? Ino tensed and slowly shook her head at Kapurimon. "...I don't want you...to get hurt..."
I don't want to lose the one thing that's mine.
Ino's eyes narrowed, thinking of her siblings taking everything from her. She had already done so much for the people back home, why sacrifice any more? Kapurimon seemed to be reading her thoughts and bared his fangs, "This is important, Ino-chama! We need to help!"
No. They didn't.
Sunmon, digivolve to...Coronamon!
Ino's head snapped in the direction of Haruka's partner digimon who had began to glow. Soon the light began to grow in size and left what was once the small digimon and had became what looked like some kind of firey anthropomorphic lion. The form was impressive, Ino tilted her head at it.. almost tempted to begin thinking of what it would look like in a pink dress.
She was quickly pulled form her own little world when she heard Magnus speak.
Now, help our new allies out!
...Allies?
The girl gaped at Haruka. Was she being serious? Did she truly consider her an...'ally'?
"...huh..." Ino's mind was racing as she held her Digimon, however her grip became loose as she began to think about this. "...allies..." she whispered to herself more than anyone, staring down at Kapurimon deep in thought. The small digimon only nodded at her, looking incredibly determined. "Friends."
SPINNING NEEDLE!
Ino's head shot in the direction of the dragon who now had its wings outstretched and aimed at all of them. Soon a rain of glowing thistles emitted from its torn wings and was coming straight for them. Kapurimon stayed still and Ino drooped her head. Friends...
Protect... Magnus...Coronamon... and Masato...and Puroromon...
A light poured through her pocket, an electronic screeching sound came from the core of her digivice and was only becoming louder and louder. Kapurimon then leapt again from her arms, ready to take the attack for Ino and the rest of them. Ino's looked up at her digimon and a surge of emotion channeled through her, her eyes wide. "...Kapurimon!..."
"Kapurimon digivolve to—!"
The small body was swallowed inside a bright light. A second passed before a long bamboo sword tore through the ball of light, a small swordsman-looking creature ripping through it with a loud cry.
"KOTEMON!"
As his small body soared through the air his sword ignited into flames, he readied it like a baseball bat and aimed towards the approaching needles. "FIRE MASK!"
He swung the sword with incredible vigor and with each needle hit, a little light popped. Miraculously, the small sword was able to redirect the flow of needles, only a few embedded themselves into the small digimon's body. This caused him to fall not as gracefully as he had fought off the attack and hit the ground with such force he began to slide backwards to Ino's feet.
Ino immediately knelt down to help her digimon up, who only responded with a nervous laugh. "I—uh...meant to do that..." as he was helped to his feet the digimon grinned beneath his mask, saluting both Coronamon and Puroromon. "Let's teach this overgrown tadpole not to mess with our partners! FOR THE DIGIDESTINED!" he shouted gallantly, lifting his sword in the air as he began to charge toward the Airdramon again.
Ino just watched him, her jaw gaping. "...he sure did a '180'..."

Masa watched as all of the digimon around him and Puroromon began to change. He let out a small smile as he heard them all talk about being a team or being allies. It was really the closest he had gotten to anyone besides the bee calling him their friend. He clenched his hand tightly around his digivice and brought it up toward the sky, aiming it at Puroromon. "Puroromon! Digivolve!" he said, loud enough for the bee to hear. Puroromon grinned as he felt new found energy surge into his body. The D-3 glowed with the same energy as a link was formed between the viral monster and the machinery.
"Puroromon digivolve to~!" Similar to the others the digimon was replaced by an orb of glowing white light. Masa watched with anticipation as the orb continued to move across the sky. While in the sky a pair of wings erupted from the light and a large well defined bee followed. "Fanbeemon!" it announced. It's voice, once high and reminiscent of a young child's, was now deeper and more masculine. Even though he wore no smile anyone could see the look in his bright green eyes and know what it meant. The bee was enjoying the fight, even if he hadn't had a chance to attack yet. The three stingers that were attached to his backside gleamed in the sunlight as he made his approach.
Back on the ground Masa was more concerned with preventing himself from being skewered by a stray needle. He brought up his arms as he saw the massive attack fly towards him only to have nothing hit him. "Huh?" he asked as he lowered his arms only to see Kotemon standing before him and the other humans. Masa allowed a weak smile to grace his lips as he realized that there were people down here who were fighting to protect each other as well. "Fanbeemon! Do something!" he said with a slight smile as he looked up at their only aerial support. The bee let out a loud hum as he dashed forward, flying faster than he did as Puroromon.
Fanbeemon was now within ten feet of the large flying digimon and directly above it. "Gear Stinger!" he called out as the stinger on his tail glowed with energy. It fired off and slammed into Airdramon's long thin body as soon as it did another stinger replaced the other and fired off. Within a second seven stingers had been launched from Fanbeemon's abdomen. Most of them had punctured the Airdramon's neck. The snake let out a howl of pain and surprise as it craned it's neck to see what had hit it from above. The sky was it's domain and the mere notion that something had attacked it from above was maddening. It's attention was drawn away from the five figures in front of it as it glared at the strange yellow figure that flew past it.

It was truly a memorable day. The feeling of adrenaline and excitement pulsed through her body, as she watched the scene unfold before her icy blue eyes. It waas truly a magnificent sight. Although she didn't show it, Magnus felt very proud in deed. What she thought was a day of distaster, became something so much more. She had wondered for a while if there were any one else wandering lonesome in the Digital World, and before she knew it, she met two people around the same age she was. Each with their own qualities, it wasn't the best of social interactions according to her perception of it. Really, she hated any kind of contact for fear of rejection to her almost dark and morbid personality. Her shifty eyes told that much. She wasn't a bad person by 'evil' standards, but she was used to being judged left, right and center. Especially with her dress sense. Though, she couldn't help it. There was no point in becoming something she wasn't.
But right now, she developed a new sense of thrill. Adventure. Danger. She relished the moment, as she watch all three young digimon grow somewhat, into tiny warriors. So that's what they do. Digivolve into stronger forms in order to fight. Fight the darkness, or any kind of threat. It was indeed a serious sitiuation. Digidestined. That's what they were. No matter how long it took Magnus to realise and embrace that simple fact.
Now FanBeemon entered the fray. Each rookie-level digimon hurled their attacks. FanBeemon almost returned the favor, and send Airdramon spiraling off coarse. It fly so close to the ground, that with the oncoming attack, it could not be avoided. He plummeted to the ground, trying to shake those needles away. He growled again, as he faced his enemies. He was one angry monster. His eyes narrowed, consumed in fury, with his outstratched wings. It's large form casted a large shadow
" - Yes. It appears to be weakening. This must end...Finish it." Her voice was firm, but silent almost in a whisper. Her will to see it defeated, ached within her. It was a victory they were willing to win. Her will to see it squirmed, somewhat, satisfied her...Morbid thoughts called for morbid measures. Coronamon gave Magnus a quick glace. She noticed his eyes glitter, and determined. Oh, he was sure to have the same victorious tendancies as she did. Win or loose. Magnus would still be proud of the fight within him. "Corona Knuckle!" His fist became entangled with flames, as he raced towards the grounded Airdramon, and punded it with a fiery fist. Airdramon stumbled, but it still had some fight within him. Coronamon quickly picked up speed, and hit it again, this time leaving him to race back towards it's Tamer. A quick attack. "GOD TORNADO!" Airdramon flapped it's wings again, as a heavy blade-wielding tornado materialised in front of their eyes. Heavy winds wipped around them all; leaves fanning out like heavy rain, trees swayed, and Magnus could feel the force of it. She dug her books into the ground, to keep herself from sliding off. They needed to finish it off now, or be consumed but it. He was nearly defeated....[/blockquote]

Masa stared at the oncoming tornado that ripped through the forest that surrounded them. He had no idea what they could do to stop it. After all, wind wasn't just something you could block and the fact that it seemed to carry blades as sharp as razors only made the attack seem even more frightening. Once more he brought up his arms as if he could protect himself from the furry of Airdramon. He wondered if Fanbeemon would be able to get away and laughed. No, his friend wouldn't run away, especially if something happened to Masa. Knowing the stupid little bee he'd end up attempting to destroy Airdramon out of vengeance or retribution. It was just the sort of thing a hero would do. Masa had given up as the winds came toward him. He had excepted that they might not make it through the attack but something tore his attention away from it.
"88 Call!" shouted a familiar voice. No sooner had the last syllable been uttered the air was filled with a buzzing noise. It was the sound of wings, insect like wings to be exact. Before Masa could put his arms down something grabbed him and lifted him into the air. He opened his eyes and he saw dozens of Fanbeemon carrying him, Magnus, Ino, and their digimon past the furious tornado of blades. The Fanbeemon dumped the digidestined and their digimon on the ground and then took of toward teh direction of Masa's own Fanbeemon. Masa jumped up and watched as they swarmed the Airdramon.
Fanbeemon smiled to himself as he saw his brothers and sisters join him. He felt like one of the generals from the movie Masa had shown him a few days before and laughed. "All right troops!" the bee called out. Masa could hear him and let out a deep sigh as he knew what his bee was going to do. "Don't fire until you see the whites of his eyes!" After having it's prey snatched away from it Airdramon watched the swarm of bees with fire in it's eyes. It let out a earth shaking roar as it charged them. "Easy," Fanbeemon said, "Easy!" he repeated as the monster grew closer. Just when it seemed to be an imminent threat Fanbeemon spoke up. "Fire! Gear Stinger!" he called out.
In perfect unison the swarm aimed their abdomens at Airdramon and let loose a flurry of steel-like needles that pierced his skin. It let out a shriek as the rain of poisoned steel continued until it feel to the ground. Once it stopped moving the rain stopped and the Fanbeemon looked at each other. Masa's, the only one with green eyes, nodded his approval before communicating to the other's that he was thankful and that they could return to their hive. Fanbeemon floated over to the children and then landed with a soft thud. "Did you see that Masa-masa?" he asked as he poked his friend with his clawed hand.
Masa nodded slowly. "Is... is it dead?" he asked as he looked at it. Fanbeemon shook his head and then turned to look at the digimon.
"Heroes don't kill Masa-masa. It's just unconscious. It won't wake up for a good long time and if it does I don't think it'll really want to mess with us again." Fanbeemon turned to Masa and nodded, "Yep, it definitely won't mess with us anymore." he said as he looked over the other four. Fanbeemon hated to admit it but if it weren't for the others there would be no way he could have taken on Airdramon. Sure, he could have ran but that wasn't part of who he was. "We did good together." he said happily as he looked at the other two digimon.

[OOC: Sorry for the delay. Work's been a apain lately. Oh, and excuse the short and crappy post >.<]
Heavy winds shifted leaves and branches all around the place, which could well and truly be a danger zone. Black raven locks whipped around Magnus' pale face, as she struggled to see through the intensity of the brewing tornado. Dust was hitting her pale face, making it feel like pins and needles across her cheeks. The howling of the winds also became so great, that she could barely hear a thing.
"Now what do we do?!" Coronamon looked wildly towards Haruka, hoping for some sort of plan of escape. How do you run from a tornado which was advancing ever so quickly? But before she had a chance to think of anything, she was lifted up into the sky as dozens of FanBeemon make themselves seen, and lifted them off the ground followed by the beating of their wings. It was quite a comic sight, actually. If she was in the mood, she'd care to chuckle to herself. But frankly, the scene could not get any more bizarre.
"This must be a dream. Am I really being carried by mutant bees?" Her tone was dull, and her frowned ever etched in her forehead. She did not like being shoved around like this one bit. But, they had escaped Airdramon's furious tornado. And they lived to fight another day. "By the fury of the digidestined, Airdramon has been defeated." She sounded ever so evil, but really, she was glad to see that thing down. If she wasn't so serious, she'd let out a cackle. She glanced down at the digivice she was still holding, and hastily clasped it to her black belt. Oh, that technology is a godsend. This world, is beyond even her imagination. What more could possibly happen here?
"You fought well, comrades," Coronamon reminded her of a military personel. Though, she mused at his term 'comrades'. The way he carried himself was strict and confident. A true soldier. Never afraid for a fight. That, she was glad he showed to her. Unlike Sunmon, he wasn't as hyper as his pre-evolution. Thank God.
