Limited, Restricted, and Forbidden Digimon

The Digimon in the lists below have been put into limited, restricted, and forbidden lists for various reasons. These are Digimon that the staff has felt should have special limitations on the use of them. Reasons behind these limitations include, but not limited too: uniqueness of the Digimon (ex: The Digidestined’s Digimon), special spot in the Digimon canon (ex: Seven Great Demon Lords), and potential power abuse (ex: GranDracomon). These are the explanations for the different levels of restriction.

Limited: Limited Digimon are Digimon that are unique enough to warrant restrictions. These are usually the Digimon of the DigiDestined of Adventure and Adventure 02. The amount of each Digimon allowed is subjective, but only a moderate amount of them are allowed.

Restricted: Restricted Digimon are usually Digimon that are very powerful and/or are part of a unique group within the Digimon canon. However, they aren’t open to complete and utter abuse, and are therefore safe to allow in small numbers.

Forbidden: Forbidden Digimon are Digimon that are either unique and one of a kind, are part of a unique grouping above and beyond the ones in Restricted, or are simply over-powered to the point of abuse to let them be used. Many of them are “gods” of the Digital World or part of the “Demon Lords”. No one may use these Digimon at any time outside of NPCs for major plots of the site. In those cases staff will play them.
