Hawk spreads his wings (T.K)

Takeru just sat and watched as Hawk discussed with Impmon about Digivolving. When asked about the Mega Level, Takeru just nodded. However, once Hawk told Impmon to go straight to Mega, Takeru knew things weren’t going to go so well. Before he could say anything, however, Hawk threw the Digivice onto Impmon’s head before complaining of a broken one. Takeru just sighed and shook his head a little. That wasn’t how Digivolving worked at all. A little bit funny of course, but it looked as if this kid was going to need a lot of work if he was going to become a Chosen Child.

”That’s not how Digivolving works at all. You can’t just go straight to Mega level, and you certainly don’t just throw it at Impmon’s head. The two of you have to bond for awhile, and, usually when you are in some kind of danger, Impmon will Digivolve to the Champion level. It takes a lot of work to get above that though, and I’m not too sure you’d be able to go beyond that anyway. Long story on that though, we’ll talk about it another day.”

When it came to the cute girls comment, Takeru found himself being caught by Impmon. Well, yes, he was thinking of Hikari, but that wouldn’t really mean anything to this kid since he didn’t know her. Besides, he really doubted that this Digimon would keep a secret like that. Since he really wasn’t too sure what his feelings about Hikari were, he really didn’t want to say anything definite on the subject. If word got out to her about it, then things could get really awkward between them. Wanting to avoid that, he just ignored the question and instead focused on what Hawk was talking about.

”No, it’s fine. There all my friends so just the thought of having to consider which were cute and not was kind of embarrassing is all. That’s not normally how I would think of them at all. Anyway, I don’t really know if Digimon fall in love. I think Daisuke’s Veemon had a crush on Gatomon once, didn’t he?” Takeru replied, glancing over at Patamon to see if he could get some confirmation on that.

”I think so, but I really didn’t get involved with that sort of thing anyway.” Patamon replied, remembering what happened. That was when the Tortamon attacked Daisuke wasn’t it? It didn’t really matter because Patamon still didn’t think that was the same thing as whatever he saw Takeru have with Hikari or what Hawk was trying to get at.

After that discussion was over, it was time to plan a trip to the Digital World. Since they would just end up in one of the safer areas of the Digital World, they really didn’t need to bring much. Maybe they would just have a picnic or something there to get acquainted or something.

”Uhm, not much really. We’d just be going to one of the safer places so nothing would happen. Just what you’d normally bring for a hike or a day outside, maybe stuff for a picnic. I’ll have to ask the others about that.”

Hawk was a little disappointed that he couldn't digivolve Impmon right now. Quite curious on what he would digivolve into next. But once he heard that to digivolve he required to be in danger...well then he figured he could hold off on Digivolveing. “I don't think I'll be put into any dangerous situations. Unless something happens to me in the Digital World.” Wondering what that something could actually be, a little worried what would happen to him. But a little excited wondering what could happen in the world of Digimon.

Impmon was not a fan of being ignored. But he figured that since Takeru didn't tell him then he must be hiding something. And so he just needed to figure out what he was hiding then he could tell the entire world about it. The little prankster's mind was working overtime on figuring what would be the best way to embarrass T.K once he figured out his secret. Or he could not actually have a secret and then Impmon would lose interest.

Hawk listened to what T.K said and then nodded in understanding. “I guess you have a hard time picking out cute friends. That makes sense I suppose.” When he heard that Digimon might be able to fall for another digimon that made him laugh a bit. Impmon did not seem like the kind of person who would fall for another digimon. Although the mental pictures were quite amuseing.

With that talk about females over, the discussion about the digital world began. He pondered on what he could bring, never been hiking before. Anything was worth trying once though. “Safe...safe sounds good. Although is it ok if we bring real food into the digital world? Won't it attack digital bears or something?” Although he figured that Impmon could take them anyway. “ Well I gotta say Takeru, I'm pretty excited about this whole thing.”

Impmon just sat down listing, wondering what the Digital world was like himself, since even though he was a digimon. He had never actually been there.

Seeing as Hawk seemed a bit disappointed in hearing he wouldn't get to see Impmon Digivolve anytime soon, Takeru tried to think of other situations that could cause a Digimon Digivolve. The only other thing that he could think of was the fact that Digimon naturally Digivolved over time. It's sort of like how children grew bigger over time and such. However, they had their Digimon for a long amount of time, and Gatomon had been the only one to do that. Even then, it had occured while under the command of Myotismon. Hawk probably wouldn't appreciate his Digimon serving for a homicidal, world-domination obsessed monster. Hmm, well, so much for Digivolving then; still, it could happen one day.

"Don't worry about it Hawk; I rather like not having my life on the line everytime we go to the Digital World." Takeru responded.

With the discussion on the girls, Takeru just kind of rolled his eyes as it came to a conclusion. If this kid was thinking of getting in with any of them, he was in for a surprise. Miyako and Ken might have something between them, and even if they didn't, Miyako wasn't always a nice girl. She could hold her own when needed. As for Hikari, well, if he could even get past Taichi or Daisuke to even get her attention, and in Taichi's cause protection, she was pretty hard to crack too. She might let him off easier than Miyako would, but if anything, she was tougher than Miyako. Two tours of the Digital World would do that to you.

Patamon just kind of sat blindly listenting to them, not really too sure what it was that was going on. All he knew was that Takeru seemed embarrassed about something. Whatever it was, it had something to do about the girls or something. Human relationships were weird, whatever was going on.

Ignoring the rest of that, it was time to plan a trip to the Digital World. Takeru and Patamon had to laugh a bit at Digital Bears. Well, technically, there were bear-like Digimon, but they usually didn't worry about those. It was usually the "bugs" that were an issue, like Kuwagamons and such. As for real food being dangerous, well, it was only dangerous if you got between a Digimon and their food.

"Just don't get between a Digimon and their food and you'll be fine. There are some bear-like Digimon, but usually they're rather friendly. Might want to bring some bug spray though; the bugs there can be kind of a hassle."

Hawk laughed a little bit, he figured even the brave digi-destined must be afraid of death. He shrugged, he didn't know what kind of attitude a digi-destined was supposed to have, he figured he couldn't ask Takeru that question. Hawk probably had to figure that on his own, he decided to burn that bridge when he gets to it. “Ya, avoiding death is probably a good idea.” He said with another chuckle as he picked up his D-3

Hawk tossed the Digi-vice up and down in his hands, looking at it. Wondering what was actually making it work, it was a strange device to be sure. And Hawk still wondered a lot about it, but he wanted to try and figure these kinda things on his own now. Well mostly on his own, T.K there to save him from a terrible digimon wouldn't hurt. He looked at his watch and sighed, “Well, I have to get going. Uhh just a sec.” He paused and pulled out a piece of paper, “This is my cell number....just call me. Or you can just use this thing to text me I think.” He said pulling out the grey rectangle in his pocket.

He turned to Impmon. “Say good bye.” Hawk said to his digimon. Then looked up at T.K. He wasn't very good at saying good-bye. But he figured it was now or never. He held out his hand and smiled. “Well, I'll see you later.” Waiting for Takeru to shake his hand.

Impmon just started to walk away, stopped and waved good bye to Patamon. “See you around.” He was trying to be cool, since he couldn't think of a way to prank Patamon at the moment. He decided he better play nice.

After Hawk said his good by to T.K, the two left for there house. Already preparing for there trip to there digital adventure.
