It was another lazy day for Hawk...well...most of his days were lazy so this one wasn't very special. But Hawk didn't mind at all, in fact he loved his life like this. Moving to Japan was the best choice he ever had in his life, he rarely worked anymore. He had the house to himself almost all the time, and something else very...special happened to him. Hawk had acquired a digimon partner and a digivice, o man was that something special. Impmon was his very first friend as well, perhaps his only one if anything. Who would have guessed that sitting in front of a computer screen would change your life so much?
The dwarf walked along the streets of his new home town. Still not knowing where everything was he was looking around trying to make a map of the place. True normally this might be considered work, something Hawk hated. But for some reason he didn't think of it like that, he thought of it as seeing the world. Seeing his new home. Has he walked along he considered each step a step towards his new life. 'Geez Hawk..how corny can ya get?' He laughed as he walked more and more, trying to find something that would interest him.
His digimon was taking a cruise in his backpack, lounging around enjoying the ride. His backpack was unzipped a little so Impmon could see the world around him. He to was new to this world and wanted to see the sights. Hawk's stomach then rumbled and he laughed a bit, “Guess I should find some place to eat.” Hawk was too busy looking around to notice anyone in front of him, which caused him to bump into another guy. He fell over on his back, which was something Impmon didn't appreciated. As a “Ow!” Was heard from his backpack. Hawk smiled and got back up, “Uhh..sorry about that.” He was hoping no one heard Impmon.

Summer days were so great. No school. No homework. Nothing to make his life stressful. And despite the fact that at the moment he didn’t have much of anything to do, Daisuke was happy as he strolled through the streets with his blue digimon carried in his arms in front of his stomach as if it were a stuffed animal.
”Daaaisuke, I’m hungry,” Chibimon said, tilting his head backwards so that he could stare up at the teenager’s face with pleading eyes, as if he hadn’t just eaten less than an hour ago. ”You’re always hungry!” Daisuke stated in response. Well it was true, no matter what his little friend always seemed to want some sort of snack or something.
As he continued to walk along the sidewalk, he closed his eyes so that Chibimon couldn’t win him over with that cute little face of his. But as the thought of food flowed through his mind now, it was starting to sound not so bad. Just then, the brown-haired boy felt his stomach grumble, resulting in him opening his eyes and looking down at the digimon showing slight embarrassment on his face. ”Alright, you win. Let’s get something to eat,” he smiled, to which Chibimon responded with a cheer of excitement.
Daisuke suddenly found himself getting hit by something and then falling backwards down to the ground, continuing to hold the blue digimon tightly in his arms as he fell. Nnnh, he should have been watching where he was going instead of paying attention to Chibimon... Lifting his head to see whom he had bumped into, Daisuke immediately could see that it was some kid who he had never met before.
A few moments after the other boy got to his feet, Daisuke did as well, hearing the apology as he did so. ”Oh, that’s okay! I’m fine,” he smiled at the teenager. ”I wasn’t really watching where I was going either” After that last comment, Chibimon closed his eyes and began to nod his head slowly as if to confirm what Daisuke was saying was true.

Hawk wiped the dirt of his clothes. Checking to make sure he didn't get any cuts or bruises. Happy to find that he didn't have any he nodded his head. Only to see the blue thing beside Davis to nod it's head as well. Hawk was shocked to see what appeared to be another digimon running about, his face defiantly showed his shocked look. Impmon wondered what was up and popped his head out of Hawk's back pack. They screamed in unison. “A digimon!”
Impmon decided that this meant he had to pop out, which he did much to Hawk's dismay. Impmon walked in front of Hawk and waved his hand. “Well hey there. Looks like I won't be getting lonely anymore with all these digimon popping out of the wood works." Hawk was a little nervous and he looked around left and right to see if anyone was paying attention to the two creatures on the ground. Hopefully no one would.
“Mind your manners Impmon...you gotta introduce yourself first. My names Hawk.” He held out his hand to the other boy. It seemed like the right thing to do, he was new to the whole being social thing. "I just moved here.” Impmon chuckled. “Look at you, being all proper. Fine fine.. My name's Impmon. I just..moved her from the digital world.” Impmon wasn't as polite about introductions then his partner was. So he didn't offer a hand shake.
“We were just looking around, trying to get used to my new home ya know?” He was never this talkative before in his life.

Daisuke was taken aback by the sudden strange looking head popping out from the other boy’s backpack. He didn’t realize what it was at first, not until both the weird creature and the kid both called out the word ‘digimon’ at the same time. At that point, it was as if a lightbulb lit up in the teenager’s head. ”Oh! You have a digimon too,” he remarked as if he had figured out some huge secret thing, smiling at the kid and his digimon after he finished speaking.
Seeing the digimon hop out of his partner’s backpack and land on the sidewalk in front of him, Chibimon did the same and jumped out of Daisuke’s arms, landing on the ground as well. The little blue digimon then waved in greeting at their new acquaintances as he smiled in a way that was similar to his partner’s. ”You’ve met others then? Mhm, there’s quite a few of us around here. Nice to meetcha, by the way,” Chibimon grinned happily.
Seeing the other boy hold his hand out, Daisuke soon reached his own out and shook hands with the kid in greeting. ”Daisuke,” he stated quite simply, his hand falling down to his side again now that they were done shaking hands. Oh, now it made sense why he had never seen this kid or his digimon before, he’d only just moved there. ”Oh, really? Are you liking it here so far?” Daisuke stopped as the purple digimon began to speak. Oh oh, I’m Chibimon! You’ll love it here, Impmon, they have lots of good snacks!” his partner exclaimed, hopping up and down in excitement at just the thought of yummy sweets.
The brown-haired boy looked down and rolled his eyes slightly at the blue digimon but still couldn’t help but smirk at the little guy’s words. He then paid attention to Hawk again as he began to speak. ”It can get kinda boring at times, but I guess that’s what the Digital World’s for,” Daisuke grinned, automatically assuming the boy had been to the Digital World already with his digimon partner. Hawk hoped that he was right to assume that the other creature was a digimon. If he had guessed incorrectly then man o man did he just make a huge fool of himself. Luckily that wasn't the case as apparently this little blue thing was in fact a little blue digimon. Impmon answered Chibimon's question first. “I met this other digimon...what was he called again. Pootamon? Punymon....Natamon?...O wait It was Patamon that's it.” Impmon finally figured it out, even though they had met Patamon only a little while ago.
The dwarf was glad that his handshake was accepted and smiled at the other boy when he learned his name. “Daisuke nice to meet ya.” He smiled then thought about the question Daisuke just asked. He had only lived here for..three weeks tops. Hell he didn't even know how long he had lived here, but it didn't seem very long. But long enough to get to have an opinion on his new home at least. “It's pretty great, a lot better then where I used to live. Farm life is no picnic I can tell you that much.” Hawk laughed a bit, so relieved to not have to worry about working anymore. Well aside from the whole destined deal.
Impmon looked confused at the comment the other digimon made. “Snacks huh? Sounds....interesting.” Impmon and Hawk's food choices differed, so Impmon never really had many snacks to eat. Since Hawk only liked drinking soda and that's about it. “I'll have to try these snacks and see.”
When he heard that Daisuke had been to the digital world it frustrated Hawk. “Aww man, both you and Takeru have been to the digital world. I feel so left out!” He groaned in annoyance and then realized he just talked about someone Daisuke might not know about. “Oh right, Takeru don't know if you know him. Tall blonde kid. Really cool hat.” That's how Hawk would forever describe T.K...the boy with a really cool hat.
Impmon laughed, “Oh ya, he was the one with the Patamon.” Impmon finnaly put the puzzle together.
All that hard thinking apparently made both of them hungry. As there stomachs began to grumble loudly. “Sorry about that.” Hawk said in embarrassment.
