Stefen was walking briskly about Odaiba, no true destination in mind and both seemingly and truthfully without any real aim either. From the limited information he had dug up which alone was a herculean task in itself he had discovered that Odaiba was the site of quite a few of the Digimon sightings over the last few years. There were other places of course, such as around the Fuji TV building and the Tokyo Tower but Odaiba seemed like as good a place as any to start searching.
'And what was our intrepid amateur investigator searching for? why my friends, he was on the look out for more of his fellow DigiDestined, and despite numerous failed attemts at it, he would NEVER be sway...'
Stefen was interrupted from his inner naration by what felt like his messenger bag kicking him in the thigh. Of course, Salamon always knew when he was being a goofball and was always right there to interrupt moments like these.
"Jeez Stefen you know that I know when you go into a monologue, aren't you a History student? sometimes I think you'd be better off writing books"
Salamon had poked her head out of her little custom compartment, there wasn't really anyone around who would notice and they would probably just think it a stuffed animal of sorts, the many anime-related buttons and stickers on his bag pretty much marked him as a geek and otaku back home and they had much the same effect in Japan as well.
Stefen sighed and began to walk over to an empty bench, taking off his bag and laying it down, careful not to hurt Salamon before sitting down next to it. Maneuvering the bag in such a way that Salamon could sit on the bench but be hidden by the bench's back, the bag, and his body, he made sure noone was looking before pulling Salamon out of her compartment.
"Well excuse me for trying to be a bit poetic, I'd have thought you'd appreciate my expanded vocabulary. You've always been saying I should talk more, now I do and you chastise me. Some people really should be careful what they ask for y'know"
Salamon bristled a bit at that, but she had a small grin on her face that betrayed how much she enjoyed their exchange, a smile reflected with Stefen's silly, crazy grin.
"You know I only said that so that you'd try and find some friends. From what you told me you never had a whole lot, and you don't seem to try very hard either"
Stefen laughed a bit, that was sort of why they were here wasn't it? to try and find some more DigiDestined. He was slightly impressed at how well they had hidden themselves, of the little info he had on anything Digimon related none of it pertained to the DigiDestined's identities. While he appreciated the secrecy, it'd come in handy when he found a group of them, it made finding them in the first place a monumental task. Japan was so much bigger than Ireland could hope to be after all.
"That's why we're here ain't it Salamo-Sala?" Stefen rhetorically asked, catching himself before he slipped up "To find some friends right?"
Salamon only nodded as her partner took a short break, he had spent a good long while on his feet and it was just after 12 in the afternoon, now was a good time to have a break if any.
