Sorry about the wait had some internet issues, but anyway here is my character sheet. If there seems to be anything wrong just tell me and I'll fix it.
Face Claim: N/A
Nicknames: Either called Brook or Jadow.
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Digivice: Red-orange colored grip D-3.
Appearance: Brook is a black haired and dark blue eyed 15 year old. His is a bit taller than his fellow classmates but not enough to consider him a giant. He is skinny and a bit athletic, mostly because he often jogs, runs, and walks every day. He is quite fast but he isn’t very strong.
His typical clothing differs depending on the activity; his common clothes are a normal t-shirt (normally a dark-colored one), dark green cargo pants, and grey tennis shoes. His school clothes consist of a white buttoned shirt (most likely with the sleeves rolled up) or a white t-shirt, black jeans or dress pants, and brown dress shoes. When entering the Digital World his clothes change into a grey undershirt, an open vest (with the left side being white, the right side colored black, and the back forming a sort of yin-yang pattern with the two colors/modifiers), dark blue cargo pants, and dark brown hiking shoes.
In school he carries a grey backpack which carries his school supplies. Outside of school and in the digital world he normally carries a black shoulder bag which contains various things depending on certain factors (like snacks, an umbrella, maps, mp3, etc.). Although he has little or no discomfort to cold, he does wear a dark blue jacket if it is really cold (it is normally held in his bag). No matter where Brook goes he always carries his digivice in his pocket (if he is wearing his cargo pants) or his backpack.
Personality: Brook at first glance is a shy and anti-social person. This is partially true about him; Brook is aloof and likes to be alone. He doesn’t like to socialize with new people and often keeps to himself in class working by himself even during group assignments. This causes his fellow classmates to keep their distance from him and rarely talk to him. Oddly Brook knows such an attitude is bad and potentially harmful to a person’s psyche, yet he continues to try and separate himself from others and keep this state of mind. This personality comes from his fear of losing those close to him and his dislike of his dependency of hanging out/being with/socializing with friends. Lately though he has become more sociable and active, but he still does keep to himself occasionally.
Of course this isn’t his only personality; his closest friends know a different side of him. Brook is more sociable towards his friends and is often seen talking and laughing with them. Yet he has few of these kinds of friends so he rarely acts this way. Even though he has little friends he values them very highly. Even though he has dislike for his dependence of his friends, he is highly protective of them. He also does his best to assist and help a friend if they ask him for help/ a question/ or anything else. There aren’t many things to make him angry, but if one was to make fun of his friends or even harm them; then Brook would see that person as an enemy and do anything in his power to protect and defend them (even if it causes harm to himself). This attitude comes from his unwanted but part of his old desires, of hanging around/ socializing/ and being dependent towards others. Lately because of his partner, this attitude has also evolved to causing himself to change in order to make his friends happy.
His most prominent personal trait is his self-pessimism. Just by getting into a conversation with Brook one can tell that he deems himself pretty low in importance, this often causes him to talk to the school psychiatrists. This personal trait also causes him to believe that any problem he is faced with will probably trump him and he will fail no matter what. Yet even though he has this kind of attitude he is a bright and clever student who almost always overcomes obstacles, which his parents and teachers often bring up but it doesn’t alter him from his attitude. It is because of this attitude that he doesn’t mind if a person makes fun or even harms him. This is also the cause of his calm attitude because he believes that only important people should get mad, sad, or/and have any emotion. The main reason for this attitude is because he views himself as the cause for his friends’ disappearance from his life. Lately though he has been able to hide this trait quite easily, meaning that people who don’t know him or hang out with him frequently completely don’t notice said trait. Yet he still has the trait, which he mostly keeps the thoughts and ideas that are created from it, to himself.
It also seems that his self-pessimistic personality created a secondary mind in Brook’s mind. This second mind is the main source of the self-pessimism and is often creating pessimistic thoughts when ever Brook does anything. Since his childhood these thoughts plagued his mind, and it eventually caused him to become the person he is today (with all his “negative” personalities). It mostly surfaces when something depressing or joyful happens to him, causing thoughts to strengthen the despair or erase the joy. It rarely surfaced when Brook was surrounded by friends since his mind was too filled with happiness to notice any of its pessimistic thoughts. It also is ignored when he listens to music and when he is deeply interested in a book he is reading. Lately because of Leo influence this mind has evolved to the point that even when around people, fragments of these thoughts it creates are noticed.
An interesting positive result of his self-pessimism is that he views others (no matter whom) optimistically. Since he doesn’t think highly of himself, he thinks that the others around him are better and more important to the world. Of course this applies to everyone Brook meets, with only his friends and a few others being an exception because they are deemed even more important. This view is what causes him to risk his life for his friends, since he view his friends as having more of a reason to live. This also causes some negative results because of viewing others as being more important, Brook does horrible in conflicts and fights because he won’t fight the people that have more worth than him. This view is also is a reason that Brook is polite to others. Even though he likes to be alone, he is still polite and kind to those around him.
Of course his personality has gotten better after meeting Leo, because Leo constantly tries to make him get over his self-pessimism and aloof attitude. Yet even with Leo influence all this has done is made Brook get better at hiding his negative personal traits to the point that unless you truly get to know him, one would never notice his true personalities. His attitude towards his friends and his optimistic view towards others haven’t changed as drastically as the other “negative” personalities. He has also developed a sort of tenacious attitude because of Leo’s constant influence towards him, meaning that if he has a mission/task (which his friends want him to accomplish) he will do whatever it takes to accomplish it even if it hurts/tires him and even if he himself doesn’t think he can do it. Yet the one thing that this influence has negatively influenced is Brook’s self-pessimistic thoughts, which are noticed by Brook even when around friends.
He also has a large like for music and art. He can be found listening to music with his mp3 when he is walking around. While listening to music he seems to have more of an optimistic view towards everything (even himself (to a point)). He also is interested in paintings and works of art (sculptures, pictures, culinary dishes, etc.). He also deems those with high skills in music and art very highly, he also does a bit of sketching/ drawing and cooking. He also enjoys reading and is often (if he is doing nothing) found reading a book listening to music. Lately this seems to be the only way for Brook to ignore his second mind.
History: As a young child (about 5) Brook didn’t have his “negative” personalities and was normally a very social and active kid. He met two people (Ian and William) who eventually became his best friends. They were always hanging out and were inseparable, then about two years after becoming best friends Ian’s family moved far away. Ian and Brook wrote to one another, but for some reason Brook just stopped writing back. He found himself busy with family, school, and life and eventually he never wrote back to Ian. William was harder to reach because his family didn’t use phones and Brook didn’t know his address, it didn’t help that they both moved to new homes. Brook soon found himself in a new school without any friends, it was at this time a spark of his “negative” personalities began. He began to think that the reason he had no friends at all was because he didn’t want any. Brook tried his best to ignore these thoughts and made new friends at this school, but the next school year he found that his new friends didn’t care to be his friends anymore and once again he was friendless. Once again the spark started again and reminded him of what it had brought up before. These thoughts began to point out that if he wanted friends he would’ve tried harder to keep them, and finally Brook started believing these thoughts. This started to cause Brook to gain his current personalities but only a little.
Brook’s mother and father started noticing their son’s odd behavior and tried to figure out why he was acting oddly. Of course he never told them why and always said that he was just fine. This only caused them to worry even more and they sent him to see psychiatrists, but because the “negative” personalities were at the time were little the results always said it was just a phase. Of course as time went on these personalities only grew and became more evident. This was also noticed by Brook’s parents but they figured the psychiatrists were right and ignored these changes. Of course even with these changes they figured it couldn’t be so bad because in school he was doing well and he was still a polite person. They decided if these changes affected their son’s school work badly than perhaps they would need to make him see another psychiatrist. So years went by and by with his spark eventually becoming a second mind to his mind and drastically changing his attitude, but because his grades didn’t decrease his parents just ignored their son’s change. In school he rarely talked to his fellow students, worked alone, and often sat by himself. His teachers noticed his behavior and tried to get him to work with others, but all of their attempts failed and eventually they stopped trying. Every school year was the same the teachers would try to get him to open up to his fellow students and then by the next three to four months they would quit. Of course he always ignored their attempts and often did his best to be alone.
After being anti-social and alone for quite a while many people in school didn’t deal with him and often just ignored his presence. One school year changed that for him, while starting a whole new school year an eleven-year old Brook was still the way he had been the past few years. His classes were fine and his teachers were beginning to try and make him open up to people. It was the same old routine but his first day at lunch was different, he normally sat by himself with no one joining him. Yet for some reason a new transfer student (Joseph) decided to sit with him because he didn’t know anyone, Joseph talked and tried to start a conversation which Brook responded in order not to be rude. Eventually lunch was done with and classes started again, Brook figured that this was a onetime thing and ignored the event. The next day at lunch Joseph once again sat with Brook and the two talked, this of course shocked not only Brook but their fellow students and teachers. At first the two only talked at lunch but as time passed on they talked while walking home together and even during passing periods. Brook’s teachers couldn’t be more thrilled and often showed their support of his new friendship. Once this was mentioned his second mind filled his head with the events of his past friendships and how they eventually failed. With these thoughts back in his mind he tried to avoid Joseph in order to not go thru the same thing again, but all of his attempts failed and he ended hanging out with Joseph even more. Finally word got to his parents about him having a friend and the two did everything in their power to help out. Eventually Brook and Joseph talked and hung out almost everywhere; at school, in the town, and at each other’s houses. Before school was over with the two were best friends and even after school the two still hung out during the summer. Yet even though he had a new friend his second mind still reminded him of his past friendships and his attitude still didn’t change.
Two years later another major event happened to Brook. One day after school he was starting to head home, Joseph was sick that day so he was alone for this time. He slightly enjoyed the day because he was alone like he normally was. As he started leaving three people abruptly stopped him, they were well known jerks in the school but they rarely got involved with Brook. They decided to allow him to work on their homework, of course Brook denied because he believed they would do better than him. This didn’t go down too well with them and they decided to teach him a lesson. As Brook was walking thru town the three followed him and then ambushed him as he was passing an alleyway. They beat him up as retribution for not doing what they wanted; of course Brook didn’t defend himself and was left beaten up in the alleyway after they were finished. He walked back home getting curious glances from people he walked past, few people asked if he was alright but Brook would just say he was fine and walk away. When he got home his parents were about to leave for an event they were going to, they were shocked to see their son beaten up and his mother wanted to stay home and help him get better. Yet he told them he was perfectly fine and that they shouldn’t be worried, they believed there son and left for their event. Brook went to his room and dropped his school gear on the floor; he collapsed on his bed trying to continue hiding the pain he was in.
He noticed that some papers had fallen from his desk; one of them was an old letter from Ian which caused many old memories to surface which caused his second mind to remind him of his mistakes and failed friendships. All of these memories and thoughts caused him to become horribly depressed almost to the point of thinking that he shouldn’t exist. All of the sudden a loud bang was heard down stairs, this snapped Brook out of his depression and caused him to investigate. He went downstairs and didn’t see anything in the house, just then the noise occurred again at the front door. He opened the door and was hit in the legs causing him to fall over; he fell over what looked like a cat. In reality it was a digimon named Liollmon, when they both got up Liollmon introduced himself to the confused teen. The digimon told Brook that he was brought here because he was his partner, Brook tried saying it wasn’t likely but Liollmon wouldn’t here it and ran towards Brook’s room. When Brook entered he found the cat holding a strange device in his mouth, Liollmon threw it over to him and told him all about it and digimon. Brook’s personality caused him to disbelieve the fact that he was Liollmon’s partner and even if he was he wouldn’t be that good. Liollmon didn’t like this kind of attitude and told Brook that since they were partners, he would need to be a bit more positive because he wouldn’t tolerate any other behavior.
Liollmon forced himself into Brook’s life insisting that he should lighten up; luckily because of Liollmon’s cat-like form, Brook was able to convince his parents that he was a cat that he rescued of the street. His parents thinking that it would be a good way for him to be sociable, so they allowed him to keep Liollmon. After a few months of hanging out with Liollmon and trying to be a good friend, Brook’s personality changed to a more sociable kind. His parents and teachers were extremely happy about this change which they thought was because of Joseph. Joseph (who after finding out about the three bullies, he beat them up) figured that he changed after his experience with the bullies. While his personality seemed to change, in reality all he did was hide his original personality. But as time passed thanks to Liollmon and Joseph, he became more sociable and his life seemed to be normal again (with the exception of the talking cat creature).
Family :
Father: Thomas Evans: Age 41: Thomas is a business man who deeply loves his family. He does his best to make time for his wife and son, even if his son doesn’t spend time with him. He is deeply interested in sports and at one time hoped his son would go into a sports profession. He supports his son no matter what his future may be and is confident in his son’s abilities. He knows a bit of karate and has tried to teach his son but so far it has gone unsuccessful.
Mother: Silvia Evans: Age 39: Silvia is a very successful chef who enjoys cooking. She cares for both her husband and her son, to a point where she becomes a bit overprotective. She is proud of her son and is supportive of any path he takes, but she worries about his pessimistic attitude where her husband figures he would get “over it”. Since her son has shown less of his previous attitude she has become less worried about him and does whatever she can to make sure he won’t fall back into that personality again. She also teaches her son about how to cook which he has slowly been learning. She finds their new pet odd, since whenever they feed it cat food it hardly seems interested in it. She has recently noticed the increased amount of food her son is eating, her husband tells her he is a growing boy but she can’t help but be curious why he rarely eats the extra food in at the table them.
“Best” Friend: Joseph “Joe” Lewis: Age 15 (but 3 months older than Brook): Joseph is a sociable teenager and is quite sociable. He is quite intelligent even being smarter than his classmates and Brook, but he isn’t the kind of person to brag about it. He also has no problems with defending his friend and the little guy, even if it could get him in trouble. He finds Brook interesting as he has never seen a person with such a pessimistic attitude, but he likes the new attitude just as interesting and even deems it a good improvement. He has a large interest in computers and any kind of technology, with his dreamed future of being a computer scientist. He has the habit of calling Brook by his middle name just because it sounds more interesting. He knows about Liollmon (as a pet not a digimon) and has seen Brook’s digivice in school, which causes him to want to tinker with it.

Age: 18
Gender: Male
Other:Let’s see…my favorite digimon are Commandramon and Leormon (Leormon is an early name for the now named Liollmon but I like the first name better) which are tied for first; and tied for second are Betamon and Impmon. I have seen all seasons of digimon except for the new Xros season, my favorite season is Tamers. I like to read manga and watch anime; my favorites are One Piece (M+A), Shaman King (M), Soul Eater (M+A), and Yu-gi-oh (M). My favorite video games are Okami, Legend of Zelda games, Mario games, Sonic the Hedgehog games, and Viewtiful Joe series. Also I should point out that unlike what I did in the history of this application I will mostly refer to Liollmon as Leormon or Leo.

A typical evening
Brook and Joseph were walking away from school; a long day was finally over each of them slightly happy about it being over. Joseph was stretching his arms above his head, “Man that was a long day! Finally we get to relax.” “You make it seem like today was horrible.” “We had tests in all my classes and they were all short essay ones, I glad I don’t have to see any more tests for a while.” They continued walking and talking about their day, they finally reached Joseph’s house. “So want to hang out later Jadow?” Brook thought about the question and remembered the promise he made earlier, “Sorry Joe but I have something I have to do maybe tomorrow.” “Really, well ok see you later.” They both waved and went their separate ways; Brook walked and went into his house.
“What’s going on Brook?” Brook placed his backpack on the couch as he looked over at his out in the open digimon, “What are you doing talking out in the open what if…” “Oh, don’t be such a worry-wart your parents aren’t even here.” Brook shook his head and started to pack his shoulder bag, “Just make sure people don’t hear you, like I said before I don’t think my parents would understand that I have an talking odd looking cat.” Leormon eyes twitched, “Who is an odd looking cat!” Brook sighed and continued to pack his bag, “Sorry, what I mean is that normal house cats look quite different.” Leormon thought about this and nodded his and laughed, “Yep you are right I am cooler looking than normal lame cats. Well come on hurry up I can’t stand being in here for much longer let’s go walking.” “Alright I’m ready; just remember you have to act like a normal cat.” “Why do you keep saying that? I always do.” Brook sighed as he remembered all of the times that Leormon acted un-feline like, “Yes…sure you have.”
The two left the house with Leormon jumping around and stretching his claws, “Ah…fresh air!” “We went walking just two days ago.” “I have been inside for two days, doing nothing but lying about and sleeping.” Brook and Leormon continued to walk around reaching a park; many people gave a glance at Leormon amazed at the exotic looking cat. The digimon noticed the glances and grinned thinking that the looks were because he was cool. “We are getting too much attention.” “I can’t help that I am so cool.” Brook quickly looked around and sighed when he saw nobody, “Leo you have to be careful if someone hears you they will try and take you away.” “Relax there’s nobody here, besides why would they take me away?” “Well obviously it’s because someone like me shouldn’t have a cool talking creature.” Leormon stopped in place, shook his head, and scratched Brook, “What did I say; my partner can’t be depressing or uncool. Since I can’t change partners, you have to be cooler and positive.” Brook nodded, “Right…sorry. But people might take you away and dissect you to find out how you talk.” Leormon shivered at the thought, “Okay I get it, I’ll whisper from now on.” The two looked at the tree leaves swaying in the wind and felt the wind blowing past them; the evening seemed to be just great for walking.
