Kaede woke with the blinding sunshine making it's way threw her blinds. She listened for any sounds, she heard many. First, the stove turning on, her mother of course. Then the door slamming, her father probably, or her grandfather. She turned to her left to see a sleeping Kapurimon. Sure, most people has their Digimon at rookie level most of the time, but Kaede likes Kapurimon at In-Training level because then, he comes off as more of a stuffed animal.
She quietly made her way out of her bed to the kitchen. "Hi mom." She greeted. Her mother smiled at her, "Morning darling. You want breakfast?". Kaede just smiled and nodded, her mother gave her a plate of food, and she headed back to her room. When she closed the door, she was greeted by a familiar voice, "Where'd ya go?" It asked.
Kaede turned around and met the eyes of Kapurimon, "I went to get breakfast." She answered. Kapurimon eyed the food hungrily and then looked at Kaede pleadingly. She set the plate down, and Kapurimon quickly made his way to it, finishing the plate within seconds. "That was good. Thanks Kay!" He thanked. "No problem." Kaede said, as she made her way back to the kitchen.
When she returned she changed into her usual attire, finishing with her black top hat. "Where do you want to go today? Since you're only here for a short time. I figured we could go sight seeing." Kaede said. She didn't get a response right away, but waited. "Let's go to that tall tower!" Kapurimon exclaimed. Kaede nodded and headed out of her room with Kapurimon in hand.
"Bye mom, I'm heading out for a bit." She said just before shutting the door. The duo made their way to the Tokyo Tower, they had to crane their necks to get a good look at the tower. "Its huge!" Kapurimon said. "Hush, your not supposed to be talking." Kay scolded. He gave a silent sight as the two made their way up to the top of the tower. On the way up, they met a guy who gave them free bubble gum. Kaede asked for two, and they guy looked at her weird, but still gave her two. She had given one to Kapurimon and took one for herself.
When they made it to the top, they looked down at the city. "Wow." They said together. "I wonder how they keep it up. Well, it has to be structurally sound, but that's a lot of material to use to just build a tower right?" Kaede asked. "Kay, you ask too many questions. Have some fun!" Kapurimon stated. "But what fun are we going to have here?" Kaede asked. 'Kapurimon, you better not get us into trouble again.' She thought.
"I don't know what we're supposed to do, but let's do something fun!"Kapurimon exclaimed. Kaede could practically feel all the eyes on her. "Shut up." She muttered. "What's the fun in that?" Kapurimon asked. "Just do it and enjoy the view." Kaede commanded. "Oh alright, but your such a party pooper." He said. They duo looked out onto the city, again. 'I wonder how many more kids are out there with Digimon, I can't even imagine the number in Japan. Maybe I should go around asking people' She thought. "Kay, your saying your thoughts outloud." Kapurimon whispered.
"That's normal for me. Kapruimon, do you know how many kids are in Japan with Digimon? She asked. "Nope, I don't really care.". Kaede smiled at Kapurimon, "I think there could be millions."Kaede said with a small smile.

”Wake up Lord Kichiro. It is a bright new day worthy of exploration.”
As Tapirmon opened up the curtains to his room, Kichiro mumbled something about not calling him that before covering his head up with the blanket. Normally he would be fine getting up and exploring, but it was summer vacation. Even a normally studious student like him wanted to enjoy some time sleeping in. After all, one had to rest up after weeks of studying all night and the such. Apparently his partner, however, had other ideas, the excitable little…whatever animal he was (he was too lazy to remember it right now). All his groaning, however, did him little good with his “loyal servant”, and the next thing he knew he was being pushed over with Tapirmon’s tusk.
”All right, all right, I’ll get up.” Kichiro said with a yawn as he swung his legs over the bed and stood up. Tapirmon, pleased with the outcome, left out the window as usual as Kichiro went through his morning routine. He would patiently wait for his friend and master to come out.
Kichiro, meanwhile, had thrown together his casual wear of jeans and a red t-shirt (too lazy to dress up either). After hygienic routines of brushing and combing, Kichiro headed downstairs to make some breakfast. His parents were probably already gone for the day, so he heated up some toast. Two pieces for him, two for Tapirmon. His parents had worried about his supposed increase in carbohydrates, but Kichiro got around it by claiming a new hobby of jogging around the city. Admittedly, it was not much of a lie considering Tapirmon’s behavior basically making that true. With everything ready to go, Kichiro headed out and gave Tapirmon his food, which he happily consumed. One advantage of his Rookie level is that he looked like a real life animal. Just put a leash on him and BOOM, exotic pet owner. What was that animal anyway, Tapir or something?
”So then Lo-…I mean Kichiro-san, where do you wish to go today?” Tapirmon responded, catching himself from saying Lord. He always forgot that Kichiro did not like it, but it was just his way of giving him respect. As a brave knight, he had to show his liege his utmost respect!
”Hmm, not sure. Thought we could just walk around the city, maybe shop. Not really sure, just kind of feeling bleh.” Kichiro responded, hands behind his head as he looked up. From where he was standing he could see the tower. Maybe they could go there? Sure, nothing that special as he could see it everyday, but there was probably some store they could look at.
”If that is what you want my liege.”
”How many times do I have to tell you to not call me that…” Kichiro sighed as they headed down the street, ready to have, well, some kind of day. Whether it would be normal or not was something Kichiro wasn't sure of.... [/blockquote]

"Kay, this is boring. Let's go somewhere else."Kapurimon said. "Where should we go?" Kaede asked, looking down at her Digimon. "Dunno," Kapurimon looked left and right, and then back to left, " Let's go this way!"He exclaimed, hopping down from Kaede's arms. "Kapurimon, wait! You can't do that!" Kaede exclaimed, her voice worried. She ran threw the crowd of people, looking for Kapurimon. "Hey, hey! Kay! Over here!" A voice shouted. Kaede looked around the area hoping to catch a glimpse of her beloved Digimon.
And, she did. He was near the elevator. Kaede sighed and ran threw the crown, pushing and shoving people out of the way. There were several 'oof's and 'Hey kid. Watch it!'s. When she finally made her way toward Kapurimon, the first thing she did was grab him. "Kapurimon, don't do that! You know how people can be!" Kaede scolded. "Yeah, yeah. Whatever." Kapurimon said, not really caring what she had said. "Kapurimon, you have to start listening to me, or someone might think that your an animal and take you to the pound." Kaede scolded.
"Yeah, yeah whatever. I could get myself out of there anyway, remember last time?" Kapurimon asked. The memory that Kaede hated to remember. Kapurimon had gotten caught and taken to the pound, and before Kaede could go get him, he had made a whole in the wall. So, Kaede's father paid for the damages and told Kaede never again will that happen. It wasn't something she was proud of, but Kapurimon was actually pretty proud of that incident, as no one called him weak anymore, unless it was behind his back.
"Yes, I remember that memory very well," Kapurimon smiled at Kaede. "It's not something to be happy about, Kapurimon." Kaede sighed and then something caught her eye, it was just someone walking by. "Let's leave." Kapurimon said. "I don't want too." Kaede argued. "But it's so boring here." Kapurimon said. "But, it has a great view and it's quite." Kaede retorted. An evil smile spread across Kapruimon's face, "Not for long.". Kapurimon jumped Kaede's arms, again and made his way to the nearest person, not Kaede.
Hopping onto their shoulder, he yelled into his ear something incoherent, hopped off and went to the next person. This pattern went on for all the people in the room, except fro Kaede. When Kapurimon came back the place was loud, really loud filled with arguments and cries. No one seemed to notice that Kaede was holding the one for all the trouble. "Told ya it wouldn't be quite for long."Kapurimon said with a wink. "Fine, let's go." Kaede said with a sigh. 'Why Kapurimon? Why mess up the peace?' Kaede thought, this time in her head.
The duo made their way to the elevator and then headed out the doors into the street. "See, this is more of an fun place." Kapurimon said. Kaede sighed, again. "You seem to sigh a lot, is there something wrong?" Kapurimon asked. "No, your just such a handful." Kaede answered. Her eyes wandered to the sky, it was such a clear day. It was amazing, but the duo still hadn't accomplished anything, other then reminiscing and trouble. Then she saw a hawk, "Hey look, that's a hawk!" She exclaimed. The hawk flew through the sky and landed in a near-by tree, and near there something else caught Kaede's eye. A boy, with a Digimon. "Hey look, Kapurimon! There's a boy with a Digimon!"She exclaimed. "Really? Where?" Kapurimon asked looking around. "Over there."Kaede said, pointing to the boy. "Well, let's go talk to him!" Kapurimon shouted, hopping out of Kaede's arms, again. Damn, why she keep a better grip on him? "Kapurimon, wait up!" Kaede shouted.
She followed him toward the other duo of Digimon and Human. "Hi, I'm Kapurimon. What's your name?" Kapurimon introduced himself to the Digimon. "Kapurimon, stop hopping off," Kaede scolded, she turned to the boy. "I apologize. If he's a disturbance, he's quite carefree. I'm Kaede, by the way. What's yours?"

It didn't take long for them to eventually reach the tower, but Kichiro was a little hesitant to go on up. He was pretty sure they wouldn't let Tapirmon inside it, and it wouldn't be fair to leave him out here. And since he couldn't be hidden as a doll or dressed up like he had heard other Chosen Children had done with their Digimon, Kichiro didn't have many options. About the only thing they could do was sit outside and just look around at the stores and such. That would probably be fine; the heights of the tower were a little disorienting for him anyway.
"Well, since you can't get inside, want to just walk around see what's around here?" Kichiro said to Tapirmon, just kind of casually.
"Whatever works for you Kichiro. Although I must say something smells delicious." [/b] Tapirmon said, apparently distracted by some food vendor somewhere in the area. Kichiro never bothered trying to see where; Tapirmon's senses were always above and beyond his. "Guess we could get some food later on or something....." Kichiro said as they continued to wander around the area. Around that time a hawk flew by and landed nearby. That was an odd site. But more interesting, however, was a bouncing fox-thing with a metal helmet. Boy, he wondered what that was going to be. Tapirmon was pretty sure what it was as he stood in front of his owner and glared menacingly to defend him. After all, it was his 'duty' to do so, or something like that. However, the Digimon soon proved itself to be a friendly one as it introduced himself as Kapurimon, followed by a human girl running up behind him, apparently scolding and exhausted. Kichiro could sympathize with that feeling, and gave a little kick to Tapirmon's back to get the Digimon to back off a little. Getting the message, Tapirmon returned to his side and became a little more pleasant looking. "Don't worry, it wasn't a bother at all. I'm kind of used to troubling Digimon. Tapirmon here has a pretty, uhm, medieval mind-set at times so can be hard to handle at times...""It is an honor to meet you my fair lady. I am Tapirmon, ready for your service as long as it does conflict with my duties to Kichiro. I apologize for my early hostility."See what I mean..." Kichiro responded with a more playful sigh than upset, "Still, can't imagine life without him. For all his trouble, he really is a good guy. A-anyway, my name is Kichiro."Now that he finally had time to adjust to the situation, Kichiro was quick to notice he was dealing with a female hear. Sounding a little more nervous when he spoke, Kichiro glanced over to see what Tapirmon could be up to. Both of them knew that he had an issue when it came to interacting with girls. Tapirmon loved to try and force a little more 'romance' into a situation, and about half of what he said when in the presence of 'a lady' most people would see as flirtatioius. Not that Tapirmon was actually a flirt; he just had the thought process that it was honorable and polite to complement a lady. Still, it didn't make his dealings with girls any better as about half the time he'd end up blushing with the comments. Still, he seemed rather behaved for now. "So, uhm, I-I guess you're from around here right? Or just visiting the town?" Yeah, that sounded kind of stupid....[/size][/blockquote]

Kaede mentally sighed. 'Thank god.' She thought as the boy said that he was used to troubling Digimon. At first Kaede had no idea what the boy was talking about his Digimon being medieval mindset, until he, the Digimon, talked. She smiled slightly at the Digimon, "It is nice to meet you as well, Tapirmon. Its fine it was just probably an reflex, Tapirmon." Kaede said. "Hey, Kaede. Why did your voice change? It doesn't sound like when you talk to me. Usually you have a angry tone when you talk." Kapurimon said.
Kaede looked at him, "Well, Kapurimon. I don't really have a reason to be angry at them, you on the other hand. Is different, you're constantly getting into trouble and all. So, obviously there would be a change in tone when I talk to different people."."I see, okay." Kapurimon said. He started hopping around the boy and Kaede just looked at him weird. "Kapurimon is the exact same. He's a lot of trouble, and costs my family a bit of money, but life just wouldn't be the same without him." Kaede agreed with what Kichiro had said. Life just wouldn't be the same without the Digimon.
Kaede's eyes followed Kapurimon around the area. He had went from hopping around Kichiro to hopping around Tapirmon. "Actually, I've been living around here for a while. My family is native to Japan, what about you Kichiro? You from around here? Or just visiting the area?" Kaede asked. She was kinda shocked with herself, she was being pretty open with Kichiro. Not how she would usually act, but there was something that about Kichiro that allowed Kaede to be open with him, or that's what she told herself and then out the corner of her eye. She saw some people staring at the group. They were giving them some weird looks.
Kaede's eyes landed on Kichiro again. She had to say, he was cute. The thing she liked best about him was his eyes. They were a slightly dark shade of blue, but weren't too dark. She was broken out of her thoughts by Kapurimon's voice. "Hey Kay. Why're ya staring at Kichiro?" He asked, then an idea popped into his head. "Kay-chan, do you like Kichiro-san?". A slight blush graced Kaede's face, 'How could he think something like that!' She shouted in her head. "Of course not. We just met him. It's not good to jump to conclusions. Besides, I was looking at the, err, bird behind him!" She shouted. She gestured to the hawk that was flying behind Kichiro. 'Wow, what great timing.' She thought. "Okay then." Kapurimon said. 'I'm sure she likes him, but it's true. We did just meet him, so maybe later. If we keep up this conversation.'
[/b] Kapurimon thought, he gave a little snicker under his breath. Kaede turned back to Kichiro, "Ahh, umm. C-c-could you pretend that you didn't hear that? She asked him. Tapirmon and Kichiro just sort of stood back and watched as their two companions bantered between each other about tone of voice. Apparently Kapurimon was more used to being told off than talked to. Kichiro couldn’t really think of any times he had been mad at Tapirmon, just more annoyed and exhausted. Tapirmon, meanwhile, couldn’t think of any time either. He found it odd that Kapurimon was only used to hearing an angry voice from his master. They apparently had a different, if similar, relationship between them than what he had between him and Kichiro. Still, he was at least glad that the two of them had forgiven him for his hostility. It had been, in fact a reflex; as a loyal knight and defender for Kichiro he always had to react when he was in danger.
Kichiro, meanwhile, was just glad to see that someone else could agree with him about Digimon. Outside of increased food bills, he couldn’t think of anything that Tapirmon cost him money for though. Still, he could live with that and the embarrassment Tapirmon loved to get him into. After all, Tapirmon had become his closest friend, and this girl seemed to understand that as well.
”Yeah, though sometimes I do wish he’d take a break so I wasn’t running around all the time.” he replied, sighing a little as he remembered those times Tapirmon would rush forward after something, forcing him to run after him. However, considering that the girl’s Kapurimon was currently hopping around them, maybe he had an easier deal with Tapirmon….
About then the girl was asking if he was native or just visiting. Tapirmon, meanwhile, was just more concerned about the little metal fluffball running around him. Still, Kichiro seemed to be getting along with the girl, so he tolerated it. Still, he was eyeing the little guy very carefully.
”Oh, well, I-I’m native to Japan. I’m from the city, though thought visiting the tower would be a good way to waste time.”
About then Kapurimon seemed to have lost interest in jumping around them and was instead bugging his owner about something. However, it was what he said that caused Kichiro to jump a little bit, his own face turning red to match hers. This seemed to bring Tapirmon’s attention to the field, however, and he simply glanced between the two of them to see their reactions. Kichiro’s blush he was used to of course. The fact that the girl was blushing as well, and Kapurimon’s snicker after the girl vehemently denied the idea (blaming it on a bird? Even Kichiro could come up with a better excuse than that) showed maybe there was something to it. He quietly grinned, just watching Kichiro’s reactions to the events.
”Uh y-yeah, I’m sure she was just wanted to look at the bird or something.” he said, turning his own head to look at the hawk to try and help with the charade. However, it did hurt a little to get turned down so quickly. Even if he hadn’t actually had any thoughts about the girl, being shot down so quickly still stung. Once the bird left and that excuse was over and done with, however, it was back to the awkwardness. Luckily for him, she seemed to be quick to put it behind her.
”I-I guess we can do that. After all, i-it’s just your Digimon being quick to judge, right?” he replied, nervously laughing as he rubbed the back of his neck. Now then, it seemed to be Tapirmon’s turn to jump in.
”Still, Kichiro, it is obvious that the two of you are getting along quite well. I may suggest that we escort this fine lady and her companion for the rest of the day. After all, it would be an honor to..”
Kichiro soon kicked Tapirmon slightly with his foot, warning him to turn the conversation back down a little. After that awkward moment, it wasn’t the time for the romantic-sounding wording that Tapirmon seemed to enjoy. Tapirmon caught the hint and started over.
”In short, would you two mind joining us for the day?” [/blockquote]
