:: KAMRYN NIKLYS KROSS THE SECOND ::
Face Claim: Lavi from D.Gray-man
Nicknames: Kam, Ryn, Nik, Lys
Age: Thirteen (13)
Gender: Male
Digivice: Black D-3 with Orange Grip - Here
Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada, North America
Appearance:
Kamryn stands at 4'9" and weighs around 93 pounds. Overall, he's pretty average for his age, if not a little shorter than most. His eyes are green, though you'll never see the right one as he always wears a black eye patch over it.Dressing Style
He has red hair, wild and unruly. It nearly touches his shoulders and his bangs part over his left eye. He doesn’t truly brush it very often, choosing instead to simply run his fingers through it.
He has fair skin that is lightly tanned from his childhood spent outside in the sun.
Kamryn is normally seen wearing dark clothes. Typically, he can be found in dark denim pants and black shirts. His shirts usually have designs of some sort on them, normally in reds and greens. He has a pair of black boots with red laces that he wears with every outfit he puts on (much to his mothers dismay).
He typically wears a long orange scarf, even in the summer months despite the high temperatures, orange wrist bands, and a pair of red and orange headphones. Said headphones are always plugged into one black music device or another.
During the winter months, or simply on cold days, he adds a black hoodie to his attire as well as an orange watch cap.
Both of his ears are pierced and he wears a black leather collar around his neck. Both show that he likes to act out against his mother, as she very much dislikes both.

Personality:
Kamryn isn’t really the social type, keeping to himself more often than not. He’s not as brave as he would like to be, though he’s no coward by a long shot. He loves to read and he retains the information he is given. He has an exceptional memory, able to recall even the smaller, less noticeable, details. He’s the honest type and he doesn’t care what others think of him.
He doesn’t hide his true feeling, instead showing when he’s upset or angry freely. He’s really even-tempered and calm though, and it’s pretty hard to make him mad in the first place. He also isn’t upset very easily. He is very laid-back and relaxed and he loves sleeping. He’s also very well-mannered though he can be rude at times. He often comes off as the serious type, though that isn’t always the case and he is something of a rebel.
He can be very stubborn and a bit childish at times. He’s much less lazy than he seems and he can get impatient sometimes. Despite keeping to himself, he wouldn't hesitate to stand up for something he truly believes in if it's important enough. His actions can be very unpredictable at times and he can be cold and bitter towards people.
He gets a kick out of messing with people sometimes and he dresses up now and then as a black cat. He usually does this when he's mad at his mother for some reason, as she hates it wean he 'acts out'.
History:
My father was a Business Executive born in Russia who came to North America in order to advance his career. He ended up in a penthouse over looking Lake Ontario in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He didn't spend much of his time at home, spending only a few hours there each night in order to sleep. He worked long hours at Kross Corps., the business he had brought with him from Russia. They did all sorts of things there, but the more well know workings of the company were Real Estate and Development.
My mother was a home Designer and Decorator born in Burlington, roughly an hour south-west of Toronto. She moved to Toronto to work within Kross Corps. to further her career as a designer and decorator. Unlike my father, my mother rented a very upscale apartment, something she was barely able to afford. She didn't have a view of the lake or anything of the like but her apartment was always spotless and it was decorated to 'perfection'.
One day, my mother was handing in a new design and my father happened to be there. That's when they talked for the first time. After that, she moved in with him and they got married. And they wanted a family. Well. He wanted a son to take over his company when he was gone. She wanted someone that she could dress up in nice clothes and show of to the rich people at my father's parties.
Because the Penthouse wouldn't be a good place to raise a child, they found somewhere new to live. A three-story house with a two-car garage and 5 bedroom suites. It was well over 5000 square feet and most of the place would probably never be used. The master suite itself included a bedroom, bathroom, huge closet, and a large extra area that they turned into a nursery. They may not sound like much, but it took up just about all of the second story. The lot was humongous and was gated. There was an in-ground pool and a full finished basement.
No two people should be allowed that much free space. It was ridiculous.
And so, I was born. Being born the first son meant that I was named after my father. Kamryn Niklys Kross the Second. Of course, I always leave off 'the Second' when asked for my name unless my parents are around. You would think a kid would enjoy being so rich with such a big house and a giant pool in the backyard but sometimes it get to be too much.
My father was only around at night and on the weekends and when he was there everything was just fine. He'd even play games with me and help me with my school work, which you normally wouldn't peg a rich father to do. Usually it'd be the mother doing all of that. But it was my dad. I loved it when he was at home because it was so much fun. And I hated it when he had to go back to work for the week.
My mother was no where near as awesome as my father. She was overbearing and a complete perfectionist. I was never allowed out in the yard unless it was with my father. Because I might get a speck of dirt on my clothes. If I didn't keep my room spotless, she through out anything that was out of place. Even the stuffed bear they had bought when I was born. "Toys don't belong on the bed, they belong in the chest!"
I lost a lot of toys over the years. Until I was old enough to actually understand why they were being thrown away.
At six years old I was being taught how to play the piano. That was fine though, since my father helped me out when he got the chance.
When I hit eight is when I started acting out. I loved showing just how little I cared about being perfect. I would skip school just to see the look on my mothers face when a truancy officer brought me home in the middle of one of her get-together's. Boy did she hate it when her friends saw that I was imperfect.
I was twelve when I went and got my ears pierced. Both of them. My mother really hated that. And the black boots that I wear with everything, well, she'd get rid of them if she could. The problem? I was twelve and I knew how to lock my bedroom door. A nice solid padlock goes a long way for keeping someone out.
I was twelve and a half when I met Corona. He's a Digimon. I'm not actually allowed to have pets (because they're filthy creatures) so my mother doesn't know about him. It turns out, my father's almost as much a rebel as me. He told me it was okay to keep Corona and that he had done the same thing when he was my age growing up in Russia.
Corona is really the only friend I have. The only real friend anyway. I go to a snobby private school so I surrounded by rich kids. Most of them are snobs like their parents though, so I just sort of stay away from them. I have a few 'friends' though, but they'd leave me to die if anything ever happened. That's the problem with the kids I know. All they care about is how much money your family has.
I'm thirteen now. Still no real human friends and still living in a house that could easily fit three families of four and still have plenty of room. My mother's still trying to get rid of my boots and she'd love to hide all of my earrings. My father's still the most awesome person on the face of the planet. And Corona, well, he's still my best friend and he always will be.

"So did you have fun today? Did you talk to anyone new?" "Of course not. And you were there so stop asking questions that you already know the answer to."
Kamryn pulled out his ID card and slid it into the verification slot that was situated on the brick post next to the gate to his house. After his identity was verified, the gate opened up to let him onto the lot. He could have just pressed the call button to let his mother know he was home (that's what he was supposed to do) but why bother?
"Then lets go and have some fun Ryn." "I told you to stop calling me that. And be quiet. If she here's you we're done for."
It took a whole three minutes to get from the gate to the front door. He was as quiet as possible as he opened the door since he didn't really want his mother to know that he was home. It was like this every day. He'd come home from school, sneak into the house, and lock himself in his room. Of course, in about thirty minutes his mother would find out he was home because the gate log would tell her.
He let out a sigh as he closed the door. Maybe he should just listen to Corona and go out somewhere. Then again, it was Friday so his father would be coming home in a few hours. They'd have fun then.
Once he made it to his room he locked the door, using the padlock just in case. He kicked of his boots and fell back onto his bed. His room was pretty big. Huge really. A normal family would think it was the master suite since it had a big bathroom and a large walk-in-closet too. Well, in a normal house his room would be a master suite.
"Your dad comes home today right? Will we be able to go outside and play?" "Yeah, Corona. When dad gets here we'll go out and play." "Yay!"
Kamryn chuckled as he stretched out. They still had a few hours to waste before another fun weekend would start. So a nap seemed like a great way to spend the extra time. 'Dad'll help me with my homework later. And I'll play that song on the piano that he wanted me to practice. If only he could be here every day. That'd sure be great.'
